Thanks for being the right person, at the right moment, making the right choice in picking the right magazine.We appreciate the many correspondence and phone calls that we received in support, motivation and even criticism after the maiden issue of The Zanier Magazine landed on magazine shelves. We would have acknowledged each and everyone of you by name but space is the limiting factor. Many of you wanted to know more about the meaning of the word “Zanier” and the relationship it has with what “The Zanier Magazine”, holds in store for you. From Oxford’s Advanced Learners’ Dictionary we find the word “Zany”, another adjective being “Zanier” which means being unusual in an amusing way. Thesaurus lists many words whose meanings closely relate to the word ‘Zanier’; comical, clownish, crazy, eccentric, goofy (informal), made-up and wacky(slang)among others. “The Zanier Magazine’s” contents are unique, special and are those one-in-a-life-time things, occurrences, views and events that are worth documenting. Going by the context and contents of “The Zanier Magazine”, we aim to excite, snatch your attention and make you go ‘ooh!’ ‘wow!” “is that so?” and “okay!”, We intend to achieve this in a unique, memorable, inspiring and dramatic fashion.
You, being special to us, have obliged us, to inform, educate and entertain you in an exceptional way. This second issue of “The Zanier Magazine” drives us towards fulfilling that obligation; It carries articles and stories which are totally reminiscent to both our rural and urban cultures.
